Croa de Posmarcos
An Iron Age hillfort in the heart of the Barbanza
Croa de Posmarcos is one of the most remarkable archaeological sites in the Barbanza region: an Iron Age hillfort nestled in a beautiful inland valley of the A Pobra do Caramiñal municipality. The first archaeological test pits, carried out in 2025, revealed the long life of the site, the commercial exchanges with Mediterranean cultures and the contacts with the Roman world.
